Why we started Two Guys Moving Company?

Hey there! Our story doesn’t start with a moving truck — it starts with a young man named Darush Baraki, the founder of Two Guys, No Truck, right here in Calgary, Alberta.

Originally an immigrant to Canada, Darush has called Calgary home for over six years. He graduated from high school right here in the city and quickly became known for his energetic spirit and drive to help others. From volunteering in local community service projects to jumping into new ventures, Darush has always had a heart for people and a head full of ideas.

As a young entrepreneur, he dabbled in all kinds of businesses — from selling shoes out of his apartment to picking up barbering skills on the side. But it was during this hustle that Darush started helping friends and neighbors move. It didn’t take long to realize that the moving industry had its fair share of problems — unreliable service, hidden fees, and a lack of genuine care.

Darush saw an opportunity: what if a moving company could be different? Honest, people-focused, and easy to work with — the kind of company you'd recommend to your own family. And so, Two Guys, No Truck was born.
